Charles de Gaulle Airport has three terminals. Terminals 1 and 3 are located to one side of the airport while Terminal 2 on the other side, is comprised of 7 sub-terminal buildings (2A to 2G).
Terminal 1 is a circular building that houses key functions such as check-in counters and baggage claim conveyors. Seven satellite boarding gates are connected to the circular terminal building by underground walkways.
Terminals 2A to 2F are interconnected by elevated walkways and situated adjacent to each other. Terminal 2G is a satellite building which is only accessible by shuttle bus.
Terminal 3 hosts charter and low-cost airlines. It consists of one single building that hosts arrivals and departures and has no boarding gates. All passengers at this terminal are ferried by airport buses to the aircraft stands.
The CDGVAL light-rail shuttle connects Terminal 2 to Terminals 1 and 3.
