Rome Fiumicino Airport: Terminal and gate map

The airport consists of two terminals. They are named Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.

Terminal 1 (Gates A1-A83) has its own pickup and drop-off area. Inside the main entrance is the area for security and customs clearances as well as the main Arrivals Hall.

On the first level above the ground level, is where the Departures Hall is located, along with boarding gates, shops and restaurants. On the second floor, there is a mezzanine area which offers several high-quality restaurants, bars and an airport lounge.

Terminal 1 serves as the home base for ITA Airways.

Terminal 3 (Gates E1-E52) also has its own pickup and drop-off areas. It is the larger of the two terminals at the airport. Inside the main entrance on the ground floor level, is the security screening and checkpoint areas along with the main Arrivals Hall.

On the first floor above the ground level, is a central hall for Departures. From here there are several gates that lead to the different boarding areas as shown on our map. There is another mezzanine level on the second floor above the ground level which offers several spots for dining, shopping and a pharmacy.

Terminal 3 also includes what is commonly referred to as the satellite building, containing Gates E31-E44. These gates are used for flights to non-Schengen destinations and require additional security clearances. The satellite building is located off to the western edge of Terminal 3, which can be seen by using our map at the top of the page.

Servicing Terminal 3, there is an automated people mover (APM) called the SkyBridge. It is used to transport travelers to and from the non-Schengen Gates E31-E44. It has two stations. One is located on the third floor of the main Terminal 3 building and the other is located on the second floor of the area containing Gates E31-E44. Travel using the APM is one-way only. Westbound services from T3 to Gates E31-E44 are for departing passengers only, while Eastbound services from Gates E31-E44 are for arriving passengers only.
