Munich Airport, Germany - Terminal Navigation Information
The airport is comprised of two terminals, Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and a satellite terminal, named Satellite Terminal 2.
Terminal 1 is located on the west side of the airport and is the older of the two terminals. It is subdivided into five modules, designated A, B, C, D and E. These modules are designed so that each is essentially a self-contained sub-terminal in its own right, including departures, arrivals and parking.
Within Terminal 1:
Terminal 2 has its facilities arranged around a central Plaza. It also has a long pier which contains the 24 jet bridges and boarding gates. Gates H are designated non-Schengen gates. Gates G are designated as Schengen gates.
Satellite Terminal 2 building has separate access facilities for Schengen and non-Schengen passengers. These are contained within two levels. The K Level is used for Schengen flights and the L Levelis used for non-Schengen flights.
Additionally, there is the Munich Airport Center (MAC). This is a shopping, business and recreation area that connects the terminals. It also has a supermarket available to shop between 5:30 am to midnight every day. Situated next to it is a Hilton Hotel and Resorts.
